Julie Vaux has battled with high triglycerides levels for years. She found that walking 2-3 miles per day and playing golf was not helping to reduce her levels. She joined the Exeter Y in October and had her annual blood work done for a physical in February. In those 4 months of working out and doing classes at the Y, her triglycerides count dropped 70 points! Even her doctor was surprised.

“It is definitely a win-win situation for me – having a blast doing the classes and getting healthier every day,” commented Julie Vaux. Julie is not only a member of the branch, but she is also now a member of the board of directors for the Southern District YMCA.
